PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

2022 (Seattle): Dobbelaere made eight appearances (two starts) for Seattle in 2022, playing 268 minutes in regular-season action, including playing 90 minutes in a 1-1 draw against FC Cincinnati (September 27). He also appeared in 10 matches (all starts) for Tacoma, scoring three goals and adding one assist.

2021 (Seattle): Dobbeleare made two starts and seven appearances, playing 177 minutes in MLS action. Dobbelaere’s first start came in a 1-0 win on the road against the San Jose Earthquakes (May 12). He was part of the club’s historic away match against Austin FC (July 22), when Seattle earned a 1-0 win while starting five teenagers, with Dobbelaere playing 90 minutes at right wingback. With Defiance, the Sounders FC Academy product made 11 starts and 14 appearances, playing 792 minutes. 

2020 (Seattle / Tacoma): Dobbelaere joined the First Team as a Homegrown Player in June of 2020 after impressing with the Tacoma Defiance in the USL Championship. Dobbelaere made his First Team debut as a substitute against LAFC (July 27) in the Knockout Round of the MLS is Back Tournament. His first MLS start came in a 1-1 road draw at the LA Galaxy (November 4). With Defiance, Dobbelaere started five of six appearances, scoring one goal in 355 minutes of action.

2019 (Tacoma): Dobbelaere made seven appearances for Tacoma in 2019, making two starts. He played 260 minutes and scored one goal while recording three shots.

YOUTH EXPERIENCE

Dobbelaere was part of Sounders FC’s U-17 squad that won the USSDA National Championship in 2018, as well as a pair of Generation adidas Cup titles in both the Premier and Champions Division.

INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE

Dobbelaere was one of three Sounders FC players (Danny Leyva, Alfonso Ocampo-Chavez) to make the roster for 2019 FIFA U-17 World Cup, making a substitute appearance against Senegal and earning a start against the Netherlands.
