– The MLS Disciplinary Committee has found the Portland Timbers and Sporting Kansas City in violation of the mass confrontation policy in the 35th minute of their game on Sept. 29. Portland has violated the mass confrontation policy for a fourth time this season, and the organization and head coach Giovanni Savarese have been issued undisclosed fines. Kansas City has violated the mass confrontation policy for a second time this season, and the organization and head coach Peter Vermes have been issued undisclosed fines (

The MLS Disciplinary Committee issued an undisclosed fine to Portland Timbers forward Brian Fernández for failure to leave the field in a timely manner after receiving his red card in the 36th minute against Sporting Kansas City on Sept. 29 (
