MLS Announces Eligible Player List for Stage 2 of the Re-Entry Process

NEW YORK (Wednesday, December 17, 2025) – Major League Soccer today released the list of players eligible for Stage 2 of the Re-Entry Process, which will take place later today, Wednesday, December 17. The Re-Entry Draft, Stage 2 is conducted in the same order as Stage 1 – the reverse order of the final 2025 season standings, keeping in mind postseason performance and any trades impacting selection order.

Not all unselected Stage 1 players will be available for selection as players have the opportunity to re-sign with their previous club after the first stage or may opt out of the process entirely.
